Affordability Assessment

Enter your income and property price above to check CBofI limits.
About these limits: The Central Bank of Ireland's macro-prudential rules set a Loan-to-Income (LTI) limit of 3.5× gross household income for both FTBs and movers, and a Loan-to-Value (LTV) limit of 90% (FTB), 80% (mover), or 70% (BTL). Lenders may grant limited exceptions (up to 20% of FTB lending above 3.5× LTI). These limits apply to new mortgage lending in Ireland. Individual lenders also apply their own stress test (typically at current rate + ~2%) to verify affordability. This tool shows indicative figures — your actual mortgage offer may differ.
